“Show Day” Sunday – Take a picture to show how much you’ve grown over the week.

“Motivational” Monday- Get inspirational quotes and post pictures on your social media platform using the hashtag “healthandwealth” so everyone can inspire each other (this is a team effort).

“Tiresome” Tuesday- Do a quick 15 minute work-out of your choice.

“Walk It Out” Wednesday – take a brisk 10 minute walk outside.

“Try Something New” Thursday – Try a new fruit, veggie, or workout.

“Fit” Friday- Do a quick 10 minute workout.

“Slay” Saturday – Get dressed and slay! Show off your style and unique/incredible body. Let everyone know what you’re all about and feel comfortable in your own skin.

Side Orders

The next time you order a side at a restaurant, try going green instead of your usual fries or mozzarella sticks. Green foods are healthy and taste really good when they are prepared how you like them. Next time you order, try to get a salad or maybe even some broccoli to take your meal to the next level!!!

Getting started (Work-out edition)

Before you start any work out (or exercise plan) ensure the following tips are kept in mind for better results…

Be consistent – Don’t start something you can’t/ won’t finish. While yes, doing a single workout can have its benefits, imagine what doing them 1-3 times a week could do.

Try it with a friend or group of people- Being around people with a common goal is great. Not only is it more fun, but it can motivate you to be great together!

Don’t be a “slave to the scale”- Don’t be discouraged that the numbers on the scale don’t look the way you want. Checking daily can lead to you making bad choices that harm your body and can build unnecessary insecurities. Instead, you can try checking your weight at the beginning of each week to see how much progress you can make.

Stay hydrated- Working out is great! Having sugary/ carbonated drinks during or afterward, not so great. Try to keep hydrated using water or if you do need something slightly sweeter a Gatorade.
